Vendor Submission Activities: Registration, Response, Q&A

Vendor Submission Activities: Registration, Response, Q&A

There are two steps integral to the process when a Vendor applies to bid on your project.  They are Registration and Response.
If the Publisher has enabled the Q&A feature, Vendors may also submit questions to the Publisher about the project.

Before registering, Vendors will have the option to preview the application they fill out as the introductory step in the process.

If a Vendor wants to apply, they will start by registering.

Registration

On the application, vendors will be asked to provide information in the following fields:
  1. First and Last Name
  2. Time Zone
  3. Organization Name
  4. Email Address
  5. Password
  6. Option to Agree to the Terms of Service

Application/Response submission

Clicking Edit Responses will bring the Vendor to the screen housing the Vendor view of all Project Documents located on the left.  There is a vertical scroll bar provided which enables the vendor to click on and access Documents as well provide an option with which they may respond to required questions.

Any required written responses are mandatory to complete on the Vendor's part where designated; there may also be requests to upload documentation or click a button to designate a response to a question.

Vendors are also presented with the option to save their progress and continue at their convenience:
After you've filled out all fields and reached the last page, click Submit and Complete to submit your application. The Publisher will be notified.

Vendor Q&A

If a Publisher has enabled the Questions and Answer (Q&A) feature, Vendors may submit questions to the publisher about the project. If this is enabled, there will be Q&A underneath Your Response. If this is not enabled, there will be no Q&A option.

If enabled Vendors will click Q&A then Add New Question. After composing the question click Create Question. This will send the question to the Publisher.

When the Publisher answers a Vendor's question, the text underneath column Response will change to "Published" and the vendor can click to view the answer. If the Publisher sets their to be "visible to all vendors," that question and response will be visible to all vendors who have registered to submit an application.

Once the end date for responses is reached, the window for submissions will be closed.

The next step is for the Project Owner to facilitate evaluations.
