As mentioned in
Administrator Permissions, admins have the necessary permissions to manage the user settings and permissions for their teams. Let's get into the many ways you can do this.
Organization Page
The Organization Page displays a list of all members with access to the system. From here, you can invite new users, edit users' permissions, reset passwords, resend invitations, cancel previous invitations sent, or remove them from your organization.
Invite New Users
Administrators and Procurement Staff have the ability to manage users and user accounts in DB. For Admins, there will be ways in which your access differs.
To invite a new team member to Document Builder, do the following:
- Click Invite a New Team Member.
- Enter the new team member’s email address and name into the field.
- If no box is checked, the person will invited as a User.
4. Click Create Invitation.
If the user has not received the link via email, you can 'Copy Invite URL' and copy and paste the link to them via email, teams, chat, etc. OR select "resend Invitation'.
The system will auto-generate an "existing user" error message, if a user attempts to invite someone that already has an account within the organization.
Editing Permissions
To edit their permissions, left-click on the team members name, then select "settings", at which point you will be brought to the screen below to adjust their permissions.
Reset Password
To reset a user's password that has already set-up their account, select "Reset Password" next to their name.
As you can see, you have several options when it comes to resetting a team member's password. Here, you will have the option of creating a password for the user or generating a new password that will be sent to the user's email address on file.
Removing/Re-inviting Team Members
To remove them from your organization, select 'Details' as pictured below. You then have the option of removing them from the team. To re-invite them, search for them names in the section labeled 'Former Team Members', and select 'Re-invite to Team'.
