Managing Points Based Evaluation Criteria

Managing Points Based Evaluation Criteria

Two of the fields that may be created for an Evaluation are a Numeric field and a Percentage field.  A numeric field sets a maximum point value and provides evaluators guidance for the limits with which they qualify point values for responses to be evaluated.  A Percentage field sets a maximum point value for bid responses to be evaluated with, and in doing so provides evaluators with percentage-attainment options to select what would be consistent with guidance supplied to them.  For example, depending on a prospective vendor response, the evaluator may be prompted to score an applicant 50% of available points if an answer provided does not meet with all of the desired guidelines of a solicitation.

To create a related field and apply the desired criteria, navigate to the related project, go to Document and open the Document Section where you want to create the field.

To create a New Section and New Field, scroll to the bottom of the document and click Add New Section, then from the kebab menu on the right, select Add Field from the dropdown:

On the New Field Details screen, complete the Field Details fields and settings and click Create Field at the bottom to complete:

After the field is created, one of the options you'll see is Add Criteria:

Under Criterion Type you would click the button for the respective field with the criteria you want to add, add the appropriate criteria, and after inputting the appropriate criteria, click Create Criterion which is how you would manage points based evaluation criteria in Evaluation Builder.
