Analytics

The Analytics page gives you access to your Document Builder data. You can examine your data in different combinations, display the data in different formats, export data, and share insights with people to help inform organizational decisions.

Concepts, Features and Tools

Concepts

  • The purpose of the Analytics page is to give your organization insights into your portfolio of projects, building process, and visualize different patterns based on data automatically collected by the system.
  • Administrators are the only users with access to the Analytics page.
  • Administrators can use tools on the Page to select specific data you want to analyze.
  • All charts, metrics, and the table of data are synced when searching and filtering.  
  • Users can export the raw data via CSV for sharing or further analysis.

 

Features

The Analytics Page has 2 panels: graphs and data.
 
  • The Graphs Panel contains 1 count and 4 charts:

    • Total Budget: the sum of all budgets in USD$ for solicitations created in your Organization

    • Top Buyers: pie chart displaying number of solicitations administered with different purchasing agencies or divisions within your organization

    • Projects by Purchase Class: bar chart displaying total number of projects by Purchase Class

    • Projects by Type: bar chart displaying total number of projects by Solicitation Type

    • Projects by Status: bar chart displaying total number of projects by Status

 

  • The Data Panel contains a table of solicitations data:

    • Data displayed: Buyer; Name; Status; % tasks completed; date last updated; owner of the solicitation; number of users; budget; purchase class; type; category; and subcategory

Tools

  1. Analysis Tools:
    1. Show: 10, 25, 50, 100, or all fields. The data shown will display in the Graphs panel, and data not shown will not display in the Graphs panel.
    2. Filter data by: status; buyers; owners; classes; types; category; and subcategory.
    3. Filter tool: select/include multiple data elements within categories; select/include multiple data elements across categories. 
  1. Sharing tools
    1. Export to CSV: clicking this button will immediately download a CSV file to your computer including the data displayed in the Graphs Panel.
